At Luminous Journeys Counseling we are In Network providers with the following insurance companies: Aetna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ, Optum, Oscar, Oxford, and United Healthcare. We are not currently in network providers for any NJ Family Care, Medicaid, or Medicare plans. For In Network clients, you will be responsible for paying your copay at the time of your appointment.

--Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy is generally considered an affordable, accessible modality. Below are estimates of the costs for both the initial medical portion through "Journey Clinical" and the dosing and therapy portion with us.
● For the medical intake and Ketamine prescription we use a company called "Journey Clinical". Although the medical intake and follow ups through "Journey Clinical" are not covered by insurance, they are eligible for out-of-network reimbursement.
○ Journey Clinical Medical Costs
■ First-time patients
● Initial medical consultation with Journey Clinical: $250
● Cost of medication: $97 (enough for 2 sessions)
■ Ongoing treatment
● Follow-up medical consultation with Journey Clinical $150 (at least 1X per quarter)
● Cost of medication: $163 (enough for up to 6 sessions)
○ Luminous Journeys Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Costs
■ At Luminous Journeys Counseling, our typical hourly rate for individual therapy is $175.00/hour. Individual Preparation and Integration Therapy sessions are typically 1 hour long and are usually covered by insurance, so if we are in network with your insurance carrier, you will just be responsible for paying your copay at the time of service for those appointments. The dosing sessions are scheduled for hours and is private pay (out of pocket) at our hourly rate, which would be paid at the time of service. (Please ask if sliding scale for this session is needed).
